Saving is not hard when you deposit a set amount each payday into a share savings account. Deposits can be made by payroll deduction, in person or by mail, whichever is more convenient for you. It does not take long for your account to grow because the credit union pays higher than average dividends.
Savings accounts help members save for the long-term. Money that is needed every payday should not be deposited into your credit union savings account. GPCU would like to help you save for the long-term. Let your money grow with us. Please refer to fees below for excess withdrawals.
Please note: Since GPCU is an employee only credit union only individual accounts are available.
Dividend earnings vary based on your account balance. Dividends are currently paid on average share balances in excess of $50.00, calculated on a daily basis and paid quarterly. Savings are insured to $250,000.00 per member account by the National Credit Union Administration.
Our routing number is 261072479.
WITHDRAWALS: For share savings account withdrawals select Check Withdrawal at Online Banking under the Savings and Withdrawals tab for the credit union to print out a check and mail directly to you. GPCU cannot currently initiate or originate wire transfers.
DEBIT CARDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR SAVINGS ACCOUNTS.
Fees: There is no fee for the first share saving account withdrawal every month. Share saving account excess withdrawal fees for second and subsequent check withdrawals are processed at the beginning of the month for the previous month. Please refer to the fee schedule.
